Gloria Graver – Inspiration for the Foundation
Gloria Graver
Gloria Graver, the ninth of ten children, was a trailblazer in her family as the first to attend high school, driven by an unwavering passion for education. Despite humble beginnings, Gloria’s big heart and generous spirit left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Known for her creativity and tireless work ethic, she freely gave to others, even when she had little herself – famously giving away her last bit of money to someone in need despite.
As a proud mother of four, all of whom achieved university degrees, Gloria championed the transformative power of education. Her life’s mission extended to nourishing the community, focusing on ensuring no one went hungry. These principles form the foundation of the Glorious Gloria Foundation, which continues her legacy by providing scholarships and operating food banks to uplift lives and create opportunities for a brighter future.

Hyacinth Graver
Hyacinth Graver, the devoted younger sister of Gloria Graver, founded the Glorious Gloria Foundation to honor her sister’s remarkable legacy of compassion and generosity. A mother of five and a proud resident of Hamilton, Ontario, Hyacinth was inspired by Gloria’s lifelong commitment to education and community care.
Through the foundation, she continues to embody these values by empowering students with scholarships and nourishing families in need. Hyacinth’s dedication to giving back reflects her deep belief in fostering hope and opportunity for all, ensuring her sister’s spirit lives on in every life the foundation touches.
